I have a english assignment to do and I only got it at such a short notice. We were meant to get it a few weeks early but got it only a few days early. It's about heroes (mythological heroes) and I don't have any hero! What do I do! This is also an oral, so I have to talk in front of everyone in my english class! I don't like orals because the last time I had one I stuttered, dropped my palm cards, missed sentences, said the wrong words and even tripped on the way back to my seat! It was so embarrassing that I swore never to do it again! But now I have to do it for english! What am I to do! I don't have a hero, I am not prepared to do an oral and I definitely don't think that I will pass. What SHOULD I DO!? I'M DOOOOOOOOOOOOMED! :( :( :( :( :( :(

Jason is a mythical hero, from Greek mythology. Jason - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jason)
Greek Mythology: Jason, the Argonauts and the Golden Fleece (http://www.mythweb.com/heroes/jason/index.html)

Just talk in front of a mirror, and state out what you need to say. Or gather up your family, and say your report in front of your family,so that you'll have an edge. It worked for me when oral report time came around the corner! Good Luck!

I don't think the assignment is for you to pick a personal hero, rather, pick a hero of Greek Mythology.
I am no public speaker, either. I have found that if I look just above the audience's heads and make no eye contact, it goes much easier.
