:cool: hello, my name is ivan

I have a question I am fixing a car for a friend, she wanted me to change the distributor for her because it was making a weird noise but the cars was runnig , I went to buy the part I got the distributor,cap,rotor, and spark plugs.I installed them I looked that I did not screw anything and that everything was installed right. But guess what no spark at all the car won't start I checked the part and I thought that something was wrong but no.what I don't understand is that why when I installed it know it won't work ,the car was runnig know it won't and I am mad and confused. Can someone help please

Sounds like the bearing in the old distributor was failing.

Did you install a new Honda distributor housing? Did you install a new Ignition Control Module and coil? A number of members have installed new aftermarket distributors and they have not worked.
