Hi there,
Hose clamps can leak over time. If the hose clamps are rusty, replace them with stainless steel hose clamps. You should have 2 clamps on each connection and use a hex-nut driver to tighten them fully.
If you are tightening fittings on a old and very rigid plastic pipe you can get a better seal by heating the pipe before tightening the clamp. You can use a paint stripper / heat gun to warm the pipe until it is pliable. You can also use a hand help blow torch if you are THOROUGHLY capable of doing so safely.
The leaking liner return likely has to do with either lose screws holding the faceplate on, or misalignment / improper installation of the gaskets. If you can identify exactly why and where your return is leaking you can attempt to fix this yourself - otherwise you should call in a professional to protect the longevity of your pool.
I hope this information is helpful.
