Hey,

I split with me girl not that long ago and one of the ways I have dealt with it is to go out driving.

At the start I would take it easy but the thought of her was in my head so I started to drive a little faster because I was angry.

I started getting faster and faster and this strange feeling came over me, excitement, I was hitting 90 and I started to feel happy.

Problem is now every time I go out I need to go fast just to get that buzz again, is there something wrong with me?

I don't think you have a problem. You are just an adrenaline junkie. I would just make sure that you are not at potential to harm yourself or others. You may have to find other outlets. Like sky diving, bungee jumping. Things that get your heart pounding.

Everything will be fine until the day you lose control and kill a family of five.

Why not go to a racetrack where you can do that and not risk other people's lives for your "addiction?"

Have a look for a local track day.
This will give you the chance to blow off all these feels, either that or take up competitive Paintballing.
Serious adrenaline rush and it hurts so its helps to remind you that youu are alive.

Hey Zoo - nothing wrong with you. Its better than alcohol, or drugs, or self pity or antidepressants.

Keep it legal though - look up your local track - some places you can check your own 1/4 mile etc.

Who knows the next girl you meet may share this interest with you.
