Hey everyone, I have a question. I usually have regular periods and signs of ovulation. I had my period on may 12 and its now June 11 and I had no signs of ovulation this month. This has never happened before. I have three other kids. I took a test and it was negative. Could I still be pregnant and it just not show up yet? Could the sperm be there when ovulation started and so I didn't get any symptons?

You may not have built up enough hormones to trigger the test. I would wait another week.

Yes you should give it a few more days and retest or go see your doctor for a blood test the can give you a more accurate result.

Sperm can live in the female body for up to around five days. I would say that if you have ovulated within that time frame you have a chance of being pregnant. Wait a week and test again.

You can still be pregnant. A friend of mine didn't get a positive test until she was over 5 weeks, why that happened, I don't know. Everyone is different. I got a positive test like two and a half maybe three weeks. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you

Thanks everyone for your help. I'll wait another week and test. If still negative then Ill go for the bloodtest. It just drives me crazy all the waiting, but in the end its all worth it. I will keep evryone posted!!
