I have 3 ceiling fans that are Hampton Bay/ Harbor breeze type fans. They are controlled by remote control only. None of the remotes work. The light flashes, I have replaced the batteries, with no help, and they are all going in reverse direction. I can not control them. I bought this place and really was not to concerned, can you help? I saw near the battery some dip switches but without a manual I am only quessing.
Sincerely,
George W.

G W, the switches in each fan(usually under canopy), or switch housing, need to macth their remote.
Example ON/ON/OFF/ON/OFF. Always glad to help, Mr President.

Check the dip switches to confirm they match with the fans and remotes. You might just be using the wrong remotes with the wrong fans.

Otherwise, it sounds like the receivers need replacing.

Did you just install these fans? Did they ever work? Do they have pullchains?
