Hi there, was wondering what is the best way to wire multiple lights from one switch? When I say multiple I mean about 6 can lights in a kitchen. I will be running a new circuit from the box. I have always wired 2 or 3 lights from a single junction box which contains the power, the switch and the wires from each lighting fixture. I just connected all the whites together and switched the black wires. I know there is a better way to do this so that I am not putting 6 wires together with a wire cap. I have wired everything from 3 way and 4 way switches to outlets including ranges and dryers with no problem but this one has always given me a hard time believe it or not. :D Thanks.

For simplicity, I would feed the switch, then leave the switch with one cable and connect to the first light, leave the first light to the second, and so on. Each light will only have two cables, the last light will only have one.
