When doing this kind of question, remember BODMAS or the equivalent that you have learned. It tells you the correct order to work out your equations. Always work out grouped terms first, whether they are grouped by parentheses, radicals or modulation.

Okay this is what I got from the problem.3(2-2+5)+5/4-10
3(5)+5/-6=20/-6
=10/-3

Looks good, IF the original problem was this:
\frac {3(2-|6-8|+5)+\sqrt{9+16}}{4-5*2}
You shouldn't leave the answer as 10/-3, as convention prefers it be written either as -10/3, or 3\frac 1 3.
