There are 63 billion hits regarding senior fitness on Google, but I never found anything beyond generalities and boilerplate.
I'm 84, and in very good condition medically. My doctor said he's not keen on me jogging — but if I want to push dumbbells around, he's okay with that. I would rather not learn by trial and error, I'd love to start with a program. I'm not averse to joining a gym. If I can induce someone to tell me what to do, and how many times to do it, I'd be tickled to death.
I walk a brisk two miles five days a week and wish to continue. Two additional days in the gym would not be too much for me.
