I have noticed that my fan had started to slow down for some reason over the past month and I had turned the light off and turned the fan on last night and thought I would see if the fan had possibly been switched manually to slow so I pulled the switch and it DIED! There was not a sound off any kind. Any Clue?

Would check wiring at Fan switch, Maybe loose wire, finally free.

Just the fan switch? The entire thing died, not just the fan.
Thanks,

I would do quick check of breakers.
Check power to Wall switch(If there is one)
Check power to fan.(at ceiling)
Then check power in fan switch housing.
Since you lost Light and fan. Problem can be neutral also.

1. The fan has pullchains AND a remote?
2. Both the fan and light stopped working?
