Okay, so for the past couple days I've had on and off cramping, but these cramps don't feel like normal PMS cramps. The first time I had them, I woke up at 1:30 in the morning and thought I was going to start my period, because whenever I cramp enough to wake me up where I can't sleep... it's usually the first day of my period. However, I didn't start, and that was two days ago. Now I still haven't started, but I get these on and off cramps... not bad ones, just enough to where I feel slight discomfort...

My husband and I HAVE been trying for the last few months to get pregnant with no results... could this finally be it? Is it normal to get slight cramps? I usually cramp when I'm midcycle which I didn't this time, and then the next time I cramp it's usually the day I start. So... HOW LIKELY does it sound that I could be pregnant?

I have heard that it is very normal to have slight cramping during early pregnancy due to the egg attaching and changes your body is going through. I would wait until you miss your period to do a test. Even if it's negative and you still haven't gotten your period, I would wait a week and do another. Best wishes!!

I have a test still from a previous box of two I bought. I don't want to take it now, beace I'd rather wait until I have missed my period (because I've NEVER gotten a late period... it's always been early or normal)... I'm due to start on Thursday, so I'll probably wait until Sunday or Monday to take the test if I haven't started by then.

Yes, I would definitely wait. And don't be discouraged if it's negative. I have heard that some women have to wait longer because their hcg hormone doesn't show up until much later. I actually know a woman I work with that had a positive home pregnancy test but the doctor's blood test was negative and they told her she was NOT pregnant. She now has a beautiful, healthy baby boy at home! Wait until you've missed your period though to be more accurate. Good luck!

It is possible you could just be feeling implantation cramping. I would give it a few weeks and take a test.

This is a common complaint pregnant woman have. Many women actually worry its an impending period. I had these with my current pregnancy until about a week ago. I call them Phantom cramps... but it very well could be your af on its way, so like the others said, wait and then test... good luck!

It's a lot worse being pregnant with two... The cramping is from your uterus expanding. That little one is doubling in size every day. It will slow down here pretty soon. Think about it. An egg is microscopic and by four weeks it can be found on an u/s. That's pretty amazing... They may slow down but they don't stop so be prepared to feel like you're the most undesirable thing on the face of the planet and your hormones are going to send you on a rollercoster... the joys of parenthood. I wouldn't have changed it for the world... I'm sure you won't either.
