My Kenmore Dryer (90 Series) is not heating up. I have replaced the Hi-Temp thermostat and thermal cut-off devices. The coil is good (~10.1 ohms).
When I detach one of the wires from the circuit, I measure about 80 volts (AC) between the heating coil and the operating thermostat or ~110 v between the coil and gnd. However, when the wires are reconnected back to the circuit, I measure 0~2 mV AC across each of these devices (coil, hi-temp thermostat, thermal-cutoff, operating thermostat).
Could the problem be the heating relay which is connected to the motor?
