I recently installed a 52" Harbor Breeze ceiling fan and I hate it. It's terribly
Loud the motor hums constantly. Does anyone have any suggestions or know
Who the manufacturer is?

I believe it may be Hampton Bay, If in your bedroom, Hunter original Fan.
The ones you put oil in(Included)You can't beat the quiet. They work best on pull chain.
If used, Good quality fan control will be needed. Cheaper ones make fans hum or noisey.
Use noisey fan where noise is not a problem.
If using speed control, Leave fan switched to High,

No it's definitely a Harbor Breeze. I bought it at Lowe's and it wasn't cheap $170 bucks.

I don't know where I could put oil in at the motor housing is all one closed unit.

What sort of control are you using with the fan?

Check and make sure everything is tight, no loose screws or parts.

The only control is the pull chain. When it was originally installed it was really wobbly.
The mounting bracket in my ceiling had to be replaced. I have since done that and it
Doesn't rattle it's just loud. I tried jiggling it just to see if it would stop and it doesn't. I
Think the motor is bad. I have 3 other fans that aren't nearly as loud as this one. Horrible!
