I have a 97 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 pick up 5.9 litre . My tachometer has stopped working. Any suggestions on where to begin trouble shooting?

If it is electronic, you aren't going to get far without a good schematic. Check www.factorymanuals.com. You may be able to pick up a real factory manual for about what a crappy Chilton's would cost at the auto parts store. About the best I can do. Good luck.
