Hi, I'm 17 and just had sex for the first time. I don't have any sexually transmitted infections. My boyfriend and I used protection (condom). It was quite painfull, and I think I may have felt some splitting(possibly my hymen?) during. Straight after sex I bled a bit. For the next day or so after I was getting a brown discharge similar to that of the end of start of my period, and a tiny bit of continued bleeding, but minimal amounts. Is this normal? What does it mean?:confused:

Brown discharge is simply dried blood. Is it normal, I am pretty sure this discharge is normal. Not sure, see your doctor for sure.

Don't stress. It's normal to bleed after your first experience with intercourse.
I didn't bleed but I was in pain for two weeks, I couldn't walk properly because little did I know I had a thick skin tag that was naturally designed to block my vaginal entry.
I had no idea! Hence the pain.

If it's brown dishcarge it's just old blood. If it was ripe red blood I would advise you to see your Doctor.
