I have a ford excursion in which the door locks do not function well. When I push the button on my remote key pad, maybe 2 doors will lock and the rest will not. Or I push the master lock on the driver door and the samething will happen. Is there a battery or something that requires replacement?
Also sometimes the rear hatch locks and I have to go to the master switch on the driver's door to unlock it.

I would say since you are asking about battery. May be problem, Change first.

My husband had a similar problem with his ford. Press keyless entry once wait a second and then press it again. If it still does not work bring all remotes to the dealer they will reprogram them and give them new batteries
