Hi. I installed a lexmark 3200 in my win 98 PC. And I can not print a word document or notepad document or anything, the only thing that I can print is any image that I find in the internet.
So I tried uploading the file to a free website that I created just for this document at lycos, thinking that maybe I can print it as I can with an internet images, well, it just print the ad at the top of my site, I also send it to a Yahoo email account and it did the same, it only printed the header, my folders names but not the actual email. I already reinstalled 3 times, I find no problems in my device manager, I also upgraded the drivers, I tried 2 cables.
Last thing I tried was to print any article in a friendly print version that I found in any site and only the header was printed.
My printer it sounds and I can see the head running side to side but nothing.
Any ideas?

caraloca, hi.ok.. let me asks you... are you sure you install the right driver for this printer, and you got it from the Lexmark website, right? The next thing you might want to check is the black ink cartridge. If it feels not heavy, it needs to be replaced with a new one. Other things you can try is cleaning out your temporary folders. I recommend SYSTEM MECHANIC and WINDOW WASHER. You can get both for 30-day trials at www.download.com. 8)

Hi, I think you are right, is the black cartridge.
I changed the text color for blue and I was able to print.
I will gatanother black cartridge and see if that is the problem.
