It helps efficiency to customize toolbars and keyboard shortcuts, and they remain available while the application is open. But when I close and re-open, things are back to the standard settings. Are these custom setting stored in Normal.dot? Or elsewhere? I have tried removing Normal.dot (Word makes a new one if it can't find one). I have tried saving a .doc file to... Normal.dot, but I get a message saying that it is already in use. If you had a solution or even a clue, I'd be grateful.
