On of the stipulations of employment with the people I now work for was having a police check. This is also to find out if you are bondable, no police record, no felonies means you can be bonded.

First why do you have to get bonded, is it a requirement for a professional license, or for a major customer.

But basically look in the yellow pages, under bonds or insurance and you apply for a bond

Bonding is usually only needed to protect your business against employee theft. If you do not have employees, you do not need it. Whoever you are insured with should be able to help you get a bond.

Good luck!

Not so the case with some jobs. A person can be bonded with having a felony conviction. It just depends on what the felony conviction was.

How do I get bonded? I'd like the clients I work for in the renovation business to trust me to be working in their home throughout the day while they're at work...
