Hi all,

The odometer light in my '98 Accord is out. No other lights are out - so I'm figuring it's just the bulb.

I took out the two screws at the top of the instrument cluster, but when the panel wouldn't pop our easily, I didn't dare try anything further.

I'd just like to get to the bulb. I'm nervous that it'll mean pulling off huge portions of the dashboard. Also I couldn't see a way to get to it from underneath - with all these huge welded steel tubes in the way!

Has anybody done this? I'd love step-by-step instructions - but I'm still quite nervous about digging into my dear old car!

TIA,

vrjjl

Well, your car is much newer than mine, and it's an Accord instead of a Civic, but just in case - give this page a look: http://public.carnet.hr/~kpuljic/honda/cluster/index.html

I took some photos and wrote some text when I was taking out my gauge cluster, so it might give you a clue what to expect along the way and so on...
