So before I turned 18 in April I was pulled over for drinking and driving in Jan. I went to court and they changed my DWI to a carless driving and I will be on probation for a year (so until next Jan.). I just now got a minor consumption ticket and I want to know what is going to happen to me... am I going to go to jail? I'm not supposed to have and alcohol related violations for the full year of probation and I just messed that up. Can someone please help...

I do not know where you live and I do not know which Judge you will be seeing. However, chances of you serving some jail time are quite real. You messed up on your probation with the same offense you got while under age 18. Now you could also get community service time, a fine, and be required to receive a drug and alcohol evaluation, your license could be pulled for three months, and be sent to DUI classes.

While it is most likely not for a long time, if you have a strict judge, yes it is very possible for a small amount of jail time. Best bet is to go talk to your Probation officer and tell them first, don't let them find out on their own,

I am facing the same problem and the judge let me go knowing I violated probation. I don't think I'm facing any time. Because the judge let me go teling me that he wouldn't keep me from college and work.
