This is just a wild guess but I am going to make it anyway. I say there are 75 different way that they can be seated at the five different desk.

Explain to me where I am wrong. The number of ways to arrange 5 items is 5*4*3*2*1=5!=120 ways. That is the solution. May I ask what you think it is?
