We are planning to move to Georgia from Florida in which the ex husband and his new wife were suppose to move also. We purchased a house up there and came back into town yesterday in which my wife just found a new job and quit her other, we gave our landlord notice hear to leave at the end of the month to find out that he is now not going. She had a verbal agreement to take there child out of the state on numerous accounts and made sure again before giving her notice at the present employer. We are suppose to leave in 2 weeks and according to Florida you can not take a child out of the state without the other parents consent. So if she doesn't leave in two weeks than she will loose her job up there, not to mention the house here we have to move out by the end of the month and we have a mortgage in GA. He had her son tell her when she went to pick him up yesterday. They have shared parently custody and she had no intentions on changing anything when they moved. She just doesn't know what to do because if she doesn't go then she looses her job but she won't leave with out her son.

I am sorry I don't understand, do you mean to say that the ex husband is supposed to move with you? That is what it sounds like. And I don't understand how this has to do with child custody.

Could you please clear this up? Thanks.

Does the current court order say anything about removing the child from Florida? If it states that he can not be removed without the fathers permission and you all do move to Georgia and she takes her son to Georgia for visitation she could be in big trouble.
