Hello... anyone who can help me

I recently lent my iPod to one of my buddy's (20G iPod photo) and he kept playing with the hold button at the top of the iPod and after a few times it got stuck.. now I can still put the hold button on and turn it off, but it is permanently jammed INSIDE the iPod and set to hold so I cannot access my iPod because it does not feel my finger when I apply pressure on the iPod wheel browser... is there a way I can undo it so that I can use my iPod without having to visit an iPod repair shop?:confused:
Maybe a way I would be able to undo it on itunes or on my computer?

If so, I'd like to hear from anyone..
