I'd like to hook up Verizon's broadband service to my home computer, however I do not have a laptop. Because we live in the middle of nowhere and satellite internet is cost prohibitive, the Verizon service would be perfect. SOOO tired of Qwest and dialup.

Our computer is a 3 year old Dell. I have somewhat of a clue about computers, but this deal is outside my purview.

Any ideas?

When you sign up with Verizon's service, you'll be offered a number of modem options. For a desktop, you would chose the Verizon Wireless USB720 Modem, which it shows me it would cost $130 with a two year contract--you cost may vary depending on location.
