I'm too nice. I've had a person living off me for 10 years. At first she was nursing a sick friend. I had cancer and she nursed me too, that was for two years, 7 years later she is still here. She doesn't have a job, friends, money. She has OCD and getting progressively worse. She's running and ruining my life. I can not deal with this anymore. She is stealing my life. How can I get her out? Can she suit for support? She is JUST a roommate. Do I need a lawyer?

Give her 30 days notice and be done with it! It isn't nice, it is overwhelming you!

Who owns the home, do you rent? Is there any written or vebal rental agreement ? Is her name on any rental agreement ?
If you can afford an attorney get one, they will know your local and state laws specficily, in general, normally a 30 day notice ( shorter in some places)
