A swan song is a final gesture or effort before death . In this case we are talking about her political career .
Kam wrote hers in an account of the campaign called '107 Days'.

In it she trashes and throws just about everyone under the bus except herself .

She says Clueless Joe was reckless thinking he could run again.
She says his team undermined her campaign
She says she would've chosen Mayor Pete as a running mate except that he was gay and she was worried about perceptions. Picking him was too risky. But if she was a straight white dude ;he would've worked . So she picked Tampon Tim instead ;a Guv who has made his state a transformer sanctuary .
She was not happy with his debate with Vance and she ended up yelling at the TV.

The person she should've selected was Penn Guv Josh Shapiro. She said his confidence gave her bad vibes and that "he would be unable to settle for a role as number two and that it would wear on our partnership.”

According to her ;the biggest problem with her campaign is that she did not have enough time. This from a person who could not give a single instance where she and Joe disagreed or where she would do anything different than what he did in his failed Presidency.

Maybe she has a future in California politics. But as a national leader ,her days are done.

I may have to actually read this book . Getting belly laughs listening to Kam explain it .

She was on gay host Rachel Madcow's show . She explained to her that the reason she did not select gay mayor Pete for her running mate was not because he was gay .She blamed Trump ........seriously .

I guess I’d ask you to just elaborate on that a little bit. It’s hard to hear. With you running, as, you’re the first woman elected vice president. You’re a Black woman and a South Asian woman elected to that high office, very nearly elected president. To say that he couldn’t be on the ticket effectively because he was gay, it’s hard to hear"

"That's not what I said, that he couldn't be on the ticket because he is gay.""My point is, as I write in the book, is that, I was clear that in 107 days, in one of the most hotly contested elections for President of the United States against someone like Donald Trump, who knows no floor, to be a Black woman running for President of the United States, and as a vice presidential running mate, a gay man. With the stakes being so high, it made me very sad. But I also realized it would be a real risk,"

Kamala Harris revisits Buttigieg running mate decision: 'Maybe I was being too cautious' (https://www.msnbc.com/rachel-maddow/watch/kamala-harris-revisits-buttigieg-running-mate-decision-maybe-i-was-being-too-cautious-248125509764)

In other words It was Trump's fault that I did not select a gay .
Yeah he has these extreme positions on gays .

That is why when walking the halls on the White House you may bump into gay Scott Bessent, the secretary of the Treasury; Howard Lutnick, the secretary of commerce; Secretary of the Navy, John Phelan,Secretary of Department of Energy named Charles Moran; Tony Fabrizio, the president’s longtime pollster; Richard Grenell, who was put in charge of the Kennedy Center; and Jacob Helberg, an undersecretary of state. Trent Morse was deputy assistant to the president before leaving to become a lobbyist. Before his appointment ,Moran was head of Log Cabin Republicans,a gay Repub organization.

Unlike the Dems ;the Repub gays don't make their sexual preferences a line item on their resume. They prefer their achievements to be the reason for their success. And Trump is very comfortable selecting gays to be in his inner circle .
