Kam the Sham was all teary eyed describing the tragic death of Amber Nicole Thurman. On Oprah's fake town hall Kam claimed she died because she had to cross state lines to get mifepristone to end her pregnancy .
OPRAH KAMALA HARRIS hear emotional story: Shanette Williams daughter Amber Thurman died Georgia law (youtube.com) (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eTcm5DXnQD4)

Kam also highlighted the case in a speech she made Friday in Georgia.

The pill caused a sepsis infection

The blame is being placed on Georgia's laws that allows for abortions up to 6 weeks. Georgia law allows for exception for the life and physical health of the mother .
A NC clinic gave her the pill as an alternative because she was late for her appointment . She took the pill and then began to drive back to Georgia. It was during the drive that she experienced a medical emergency . Her twin babies died before she arrived at the hospital in Georgia .

Let's make it clear the abortion pill is a very dangerous medicine to take. It is now unfortunately the preferred method of killing babies because it can be administered at home without physician care even though it leads to a fourfold increase of risks.

Results: The overall incidence of adverse events was fourfold higher in the medical compared with surgical abortion cohort (20.0% compared with 5.6%, P<.001). Hemorrhage (15.6% compared with 2.1%, P<.001) and incomplete abortion (6.7% compared with 1.6%, P<.001) were more common after medical abortion.

In the real world such medicines would not be approved for use and especially not for outpatient.

But no test administering of the pill became the preferred method during the covid pandemic .This of course was to protect the doctors ;not the patient . Doctors could virtually diagnose and prescribe. Call it a tele-abortion.

May 2020 the ACLU among others sued to end in person dispensing rules .

July 2020 a judge lifted the in person requirement.

Trump appealed the ruling . That is where it stood when Clueless Joe and Kam assumed control.

April 2021 Joe and the FDA did an EO

January 2023 the FDA finalized rules allowing mail order .

So this is where we stand. So called physicians who swear to the Hippocratic oath write prescriptions and administer the pill as if it were candy. This is policy that Joe-Kam directed even though studies show it is a risk ;and especially if it is taken without immediate physician monitoring .

They claim to trust the science. The science has spoken.

The Dems are all in on the lie that almost all of them are spouting. They say the Repubs are going for a national ban on abortions . .

In fact most Repubs take a middle position post Roe v Wade. Those include a date after pregnancy where abortions are permitted :AND exceptions for rape, incest and the life of the mother.

They cite Project 2025 . Trump has said on a number of occassions that he has nothing to do with it and it is not his or his campaign's policy.

The project does not call for a ban although it would restrict abortion access than most Repubs campaign for in that it would reverse FDA's decision on mifepristone being dispensed like candy on Halloween .

The Dems are using a disgusting fear tactic that has no basis in fact.

And Walz is worse. He says the Repubs want a national registry on pregnancies .
