TDS Dems have been going around the country trying to undermine the democratic process of elections by denying Trump a place on the ballot for the Presidential election in November.

For the most part this nonsense has been cut off at the pass. But in a new judicial low ;The Colorado Supreme Court ;no doubt high as a kite on legal weed ;has decided that Trump can be denied based on the insurrection provision of the 14th amendment.

Here's the deal. Trump was not convicted or even charged with insurrection by zealot prosecutor Jack Smith. So essentially this court which is charged with interpreting Colorado state law has taken it upon itself to be the judge ,jury ,and executioner of Federal charges Trump does not face .

Think of the absurdity this decision. If SCOTUS does not overrule this than we have a situation where states can keep a national candidate off a ballot strictly for political reasons without proper due process . Red state courts could keep the Dem candidate off the ballot as often as a blue state court

As Jonathan Turley wrote

The opinion is remarkable in how the four justices adopted the most sweeping interpretations to get over each barrier. The result is lack of a limiting principle. I view the opinion as strikingly anti-democratic in what it now allows states to do in blue and red states alike.

Jonathan Turley on X: "...It is striking that the court relies on Schenck v. U.S., where the Court upheld the denial of core free speech rights of a socialist opposing a war. The opinion of the Colorado Supreme Court is so sweeping that it would allow for tit-for-tat removals of candidates from ballots" / X (twitter.com) (https://twitter.com/JonathanTurley/status/1737258099923120592)

This country is already a powder keg . The Colorado Supreme Court is tossing matches on it.
