Bucking a trend that saw many companies fleeing the state since the covid pandemic ; the developing AI industry has apparently found a home is "homeless" San Fran .
Of the top 50 AI companies 20 have located in the San Fran /Silicon Valley area. If you include San Jose and LA ;the state has 35 of the top 50 worldwide .

Some are in NY and Boston . NONE are in the Rust Belt, Midwest or South except Texas has 2 .
There is a manufacturing boom in the South and Mountain West that Axios attributes to Bidenomics. (huh?)

His Presidency may have helped the boom but in ways he will dismiss. It is the escape from progressive policies that made manufacturing retreat from previously strong manufacturing bases in the large metropolitan areas of the North and California.
