Clueless is clinging to the dictatorial powers that presiding over a health "emergency "allows him to retain. Last month he said on '60 Minutes ' that the pandemic was over .

Covid-19 pandemic is over in the US - Joe Biden - BBC News (https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-62959089)

But if there were no emergency then a lot of the election shenanigans would have to end . Many of the fiat rules put in place were justified because of the pandemic .

This week he repudiated his statement .He did not make a proclamation to the nation . He surreptitiously made a decision that was posted on line by HHS Sec Xavier Becerra that the administration was renewing the covid health emergency for another 90 days .

Renewal of Determination That A Public Health Emergency Exists (hhs.gov) (https://aspr.hhs.gov/legal/PHE/Pages/COVID-15Oct21.aspx)

That will take us past the election and the legislative scramble the Dems will pull before their term ends in January . How fortuitous !

As a result of the continued consequences of the Coronavirus Disease...

This open ended commitment means that as long as there are ANY 'continued consequences' that Clueless can impose dictatorial powers and use the alleged 'continued consequences ' as justification .

What this allows him to do is continue his fiat decision to suspend student loan payments .For that matter his decree allows him to perpetuate the whole $400 billion +++++ bail out charade. Doesn't matter if the courts strike it down . He can keep the gimme going past the election and new year.
Covid has allowed the government to greatly expand Medicaid and CHIPS programs .

The 9-11 kangaroo court proclaims itself as a protector of our democracy .Perhaps they should look to where there is real abuse of our system instead .

He has managed to do one thing. He makes me miss the good ole days of Trump.
