We've seen this kabuki dance before. In the weeks leading up to an election ,the compliant press spins a tale of Dems having almost insurmountable leads . The message is clear . Repub voters don't even bother wasting your time showing up to vote. The issues that are important are underplayed and replaced by Dem fear mongering on social issues.

It works well in combination with early voting that has now become SOP in the post covid America. (In PA early voting is well underway before the Fetterman -Oz debate ) .

As election time approaches the narrative begins to change . Pollsters don't like looking like complete incompetents .So miraculously the races tighten. Then when the outcomes they predicted don't come to pass they blame it on (get this ) "shy Republican voters " to explain how they could've been so wrong. The story goes that some Republicans don't answer the pollsters truthfully .

Of course Clueless giving fire and brimstone speeches about the evils of half the county ;and unleashing the Federal law enforcement agencies against them ,may justify their silence.

This intimidation tactic won't work . So again the pollsters will be surprised . They think a red wave has been staunched because the Dems are rallying for unlimited abortion on demand.
That is not what is on the minds of voters . The voters are concerned with the economy ;especially inflation (in California it takes $100 to fill your car with gas) .The voters are concerned with crime and the wink and nod endorsement of crime by Dem officials. The voters are concerned about the hordes of invaders crossing the border at the invite of the Dems.

The Dems are in trouble and they know it . They are in so much trouble that even their clever riggings of results will not change the outcome.

I guess cognitive ability is no longer a prerequisite for elected office. Clueless broke that barrier and now it is extended to the Senate contest in PA.

John Fetterman when completely healthy was a Democrat joke. But since 2019 when he collapsed while presiding over the state Senate ;and in May when he suffered a major stroke . He has been trying to keep his declining health and cognitive impairments related to his health a big cover up secret .

In this pursuit he has accomplices in the compliant press.

Dasha Burns of NBC recently sat down for an interview with him. According to Burns he “struggles to understand what he hears and to speak clearly”.

For the interview an Apple laptop monitor was set up so he could read the question he was asked . He had trouble speaking replies .

Initially he refused to debate Dr Oz , He agreed to a single debate after a major Pittsburg news paper raised the health issues.

Early voting is well underway (since early September ) and still no debate has happened .It is scheduled for Oct 25 ;a week before the elections if it happens at all. Oz had to agree to him using the monitor in the debate .

Oz has released a full report on his health and has called on Fetterman to do the same .

If Fetterman wins then, like Clueless ,he will be a rubber stamp for someone else's agenda.

Get this ..... Burns is coming under criticism for making an honest assessment of her interview with Fetterman . The libs are circling the wagons around him including critics from Burns own network . Savannah Guthrie of NBC pushed back saying other reporters did not have the same impression of Fetterman's issues. Well the video did not lie . He fumbled even worse than Clueless does . Burns did not back down. Fetterman had trouble understanding her and her crew until interview questions were closed captioned for him to read during their interview.

Vox’s Kara Swisher tweeted a cheap attack at Burns ."Sorry to say but I talked to @JohnFetterman for over an hour without stop or any aides and this is just nonsense. Maybe this reporter is just bad at small talk."

Burns pointed that the other reporters who interviewed him had done so remotely and that she was the 1st to have a sit down with him.

No doubt he was given the written questions before those interviews .

My best guess is that we are being conditioned to accept him referring to an Apple laptop screen before he answers questions and that he will use that to great effect during the Oz debate. I guess this is the next phase from Clueless using theater sized teleprompter screens just outside of view during his staged interviews .

The word of the day is "ableist" defined as treating people unfairly because they have a disability . That is the word the compliant press has rallied around in their defense of the feeble performance of Fetterman .

It is now taboo to discuss the possibility that he may not be up to the task as serving as Senator because of his unfortunate May stroke. His struggle to communicate and comprehend is suddenly a handicap. it is compared to other elected officials who need wheelchairs and hearing aids .

Well that of course is nonsense , It is not ableist to wonder if a candidate running for the most powerful legislative body on the planet is up to the task. That is why lengthy campaigns are run.

Kara Swisher says he is able to engage in a conservation . Let him prove it in a debate or in a format where he is not relying on a closed caption translator .

I wish he were healthy and fit . Then all that would need to be addressed is his manufactured phony working class image ;his lousy work ethics where he is a no show half the time . Most of all his soft on crime ;his anti-business positions should be highlighted . They are bad for a state that is reeling with crime waves in the major cities and it's major industry being destroyed by intentional Dem policies.

This attack on Burns is a message to all journalists who dare to practice journalism.
The one in PA I follow is Salena Zito. She went to the town he was the mayor forever and exposed the lie that claimed he was a competent mayor.

Now 53, with a 6-foot-8 linebacker’s physique, shaved head, goatee, tattoos and a fondness for hoodies and cargo shorts, Fetterman has crafted a progressive hero legend for himself that locals say is far from the truth.
Indeed, the hopeful story of a young mayor saving this small Rust Belt town is full of holes. And no one is more disappointed than those who live here.

Inside Braddock, Pa., dying town John Fetterman claims he saved (nypost.com) (https://nypost.com/2022/10/11/inside-braddock-pa-dying-town-john-fetterman-claims-he-saved/)

What they mind is him pretending to be something he is not: a doer.
