The demand for racism in the US is greater than the supply

Please define and clarify the phrase, "demand for racism".

I think he is referring to the seeming eagerness of liberal dems to try and brand as many thoughts/actions as possible as "racist". So the Duke lacrosse team, Nicholas Sandman, Donald Trump, Ben Shapiro, and many other conservatives are branded "racist" when, in fact, they are/were not.

It is self-explanatory. But jlsenbe elaborated nicely. I heard the phrase today for the 1st time from a Black professor at a Black college ,
As an example ;9 unarmed black guys who resisted arrest were shot last year by police. We have 330 million people in America, So, 9/330,000,000, makes it a .00000003 chance this happens.
Compliant press reporting about riots and and race baiting politicians make it sound like it is a daily occurrence .
Instead of BLM ......
]BLM Spent $6M Of Donation Funds On Studio City Mansion: Report | Los Angeles, CA Patch (https://patch.com/california/los-angeles/blm-spent-6m-donation-funds-la-mansion-report)
Maybe we should have a“Just Don’t Resist Arrest Day.”
Looting and arson after court verdicts became an American pastime sanctioned by liberal mayors and the media. They are complicit . They are part of the demand side of the equation which clearly doesn't balance .

Why were "9 unarmed black guys who resisted arrest ... shot last year by police"? If they had been white, what would the cops have done?

When we are talking these numbers, the difference is not consequential .

But the skin color seems to be the issue during every confrontation with police.

Uhm…unarmed whites were also shot, and more of them than black Americans. Go figure.

I have a white 6'3" nephew who's in jail for aggravated assault to a cop who tried to break up a fight my nephew was in. No bumps or bruises on my nephew. Wonder what he would have endured had he been Black....

So how could skin color be the issue in “every confrontation”?
More whites than blacks. How can that be?
Are you not the exact kind of person Tom was describing?
Wondergirl

Skin color determines the reaction. My nephew wasn't reciting Bible verses or blessing the cops with holy signs and words.

With whites also? How can you explain that? More whites are shot than blacks, but skin color determines the reaction? I'm not getting your point here at all.

Find a reference librarian and do some honest research.

Too late for that. I've already done it.
First you said, "But the skin color seems to be the issue during every confrontation with police." When I pointed out that more unarmed whites are killed than black, which I discovered by doing the "honest research" that you did not seem willing to do, it did not phase you at all. That's what I don't understand about you. When faced with clearly contradictory facts, you just keep on going as though you had seen nothing.
"For Washington Post’s definition of unarmed, 45% of the victims were White, while 25% were Black. For toy weapons, 50% were White, and 15% were Black. For vehicles, 41% were White, and 30% were Black. For all of those cases combined, 44% were White, and 25% were Black."

Of course! A college blog!
So police DO NOT take note of skin color at every confrontation.

It is a bunch of nonsense . The supposed racism and guilt that is piled on by woke academia and now in corporate board rooms is Al Sharpy Sharpton and Jesse Jackson shake down street 2.0 . This had led to BLM accumulating massive donations.
How is that money being spent ? Co-founder Patrisse Marie Khan-Cullors Brignac; a self proclaimed 'trained Marxist "used the money the organization grifted to buy four homes. One of them is in elite Topanga Canyon California .She spent $35,000 for a security fence around the property . Her personal real estate is valued at around $3 million.
Playing the race card is lucrative business.

They don't care about black people. If they did, they would be trying to do something about the several thousand black people killed every year by black criminals. They would be trying to do something about the 300 thousand black unborn babies killed every year in abortion clinics.
It's about power and money.

A positive development in the "All white people are racists!" front.
Oberlin College alumni and civil rights lawyers alike were stunned by the combined $44 million in damages awarded by a Lorain County jury to the owners of Gibson’s Bakery in a libel, slander and defamation suit.
The lawsuit, which named both the college and Meredith Raimondo, vice president and dean of students, stemmed from a Nov. 9, 2016, shoplifting incident and fight at the Oberlin bakery that involved three African-American Oberlin College students and Allyn D. Gibson, a white store clerk. The incident sparked immediate protests.
The complaint states that Raimondo and other Oberlin College representatives “handed out hundreds of copies of the flyer to Oberlin College faculty, staff, and students, the Oberlin community and media representatives stating that Gibson’s Bakery and its owners racially profiled (the students).”

Tony Dungy was the 1st Black head coach to win the Super Bowl . He recently supported Guv DeSantis's “Responsible Fatherhood Initiative.”
Dungy is someone who gets the relationship between Black crime and the failed family . He joined Rev Abe Brown's prison ministry .Expecting to find hardened criminals ,he found instead young adults that could've been his children. Brown told Dungy , “It’s not socioeconomic. It’s not racial. It’s not education. It’s none of that. Ninety-five percent of these boys did not grow up with their dad.”
Dungy Responds to Criticism After Supporting DeSantis Fatherhood Initiative - Tennessee Star (https://tennesseestar.com/2022/04/14/dungy-responds-to-criticism-after-supporting-desantis-fatherhood-initiative/)
This is a position that not too long ago the emperor took ."We know the statistics that children who grow up without a father are five times more likely to live in poverty and commit crime; nine times more likely to drop out of schools and 20 times more likely to end up in prison.”
“Of all the rocks upon which we build our lives, we are reminded today that family is the most important .And we are called to recognize and honor how critical every father is to that foundation.”
Obama Gets It Right, When It Comes to Fatherhood | Institute for Family Studies (ifstudies.org) (https://ifstudies.org/blog/obama-gets-it-right-when-it-comes-to-fatherhood)
Read the whole address. The emperor correctly pointed out that the problem is not Jim Crow, racism ,or legacy of the slavery era .It is not police brutality .
He of course did not go far enough in identifying the root cause of the family disintegration is the lefty progressive welfare nanny state...the modern day equivalent of the plantation.
The bill signed by DeSantis will direct millions of dollars towards initiatives aimed at encouraging responsible and involved fatherhood.
Dungy's support of DeSantis' bill has got the woke crowd in a buzz. Keith Olberman called him a fascist prop. Another moron ,Deadspin, said Tony Dungy is constantly used as a prop by bigots.
The emperor's statement did raise the dander of race baiter Jesse Jackson . His response to the emperor's remarks was that he wanted to cut the emperors nuts out .“Barack—he’s talking down to black people—telling n*****s how to behave.”
Michelle Claims to 'Live in Fear,' Barack Actually Does | National Gun Forum (https://www.nationalgunforum.com/threads/michelle-claims-to-live-in-fear-barack-actually-does.213316/)
After that the emperor got the message and never spoke like that again. I think Dungy has more character and will not cave so easily to the woke madness.

“Of all the rocks upon which we build our lives, we are reminded today that family is the most important .And we are called to recognize and honor how critical every father is to that foundation.”As much as I might applaud that statement, it is wrong. The foundational rock must be a respect for God and the teachings of the Bible. It is from that Rock that we come to value and prize family. When you lose the first, you will eventually lose the second.

Ever notice how these charges of white racism always comes up on either President election or mid-term years ? That was the case in 2006 during the Duke Lacrosse rape hoax .That year we had a two-fer because that was also the year when victim Treyvon Martin was bashing George Zimmerman's head into the sidewalk before Zimmerman shot him. (Tawana Brawley was late Nov 1987 ;but the case became major news during the 1988 elections ) .
Anyway ; former stripper Crystal Magnum ;who is behind bars for killing her husband ; has had a come to Jesus moment after the statute of limitations for perjury has passed.
She now admits(after the elections this year) to fabricating her charges against the Duke Lacrosse team .
“
I made up a story that wasn’t true because I wanted validation from people and not from God,” Mangum told podcast host Kat DePasquale about the Duke case, “and that was wrong when God already loved me for who I was regardless.”
Crystal Mangum, who accused Duke lacrosse players of rape in 2006, says she lied - The Athletic (https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/5993142/2024/12/13/crystal-mangum-duke-lacrosse-players-rape/)
