He wants you to report 'radicalized' friends and family to the government, in an effort to fight domestic terrorism aka right wingers . the cowardly administration would not even reveal the official on the White House web site. )

Background Press Call by Senior Administration Officials on the National Strategy for Countering Domestic Terrorism | The White House (https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefing-room/press-briefings/2021/06/15/background-press-call-by-senior-administration-officials-on-the-national-strategy-for-countering-domestic-terrorism/)

This involves creating contexts in which those who are family members or friends or co-workers know that there are pathways and avenues to raise concerns and seek help for those who they have perceived to be radicalizing and potentially radicalizing towards violence,”.......“We are investing many agencies of the government and resourcing them appropriately and asking our citizens to participate,”

The administration is also going to recruit hi tech firms in their domestic spying, “Any particular tech company often knows its own platform very well,” ....“But the government sees things — actually, threats of violence — across platforms.

If only he would make a practice of confiscating and melting down all the guns, reporting radicals wouldn't be necessary.

Then they would resort to knives, no restricting the type of weapon is better

Yes indeed. We could just ask all the criminals to please hand in their guns. I’m sure they would cooperate.

Would you rather face a gun-shooter person or a knife-wielder person?

The second effort will be confiscating knives.

Lawbreakers will be stoned to death.

so this takes neighbourhood watch to a new level, nothing new here, nothing to see here, just good ole commie tactics, only to be expected from a demonrat

Wasn't a commie tactic when used against people of color, so why is it commie when used against violent loony racists? What are you some kind of partisan dodo bird?

Let's examine your allegation ~ Partisan; does this mean you think I am a rebel freedom fighter? perhaps you think I am a secret demonrat? No, I lean neither to the far right or the far left so the word is centrist. Dodo Bird ~ this means you think you are talking to the extinct inhabitant of a remote African island, so wrong species, wrong place; giant wombat perhaps

Wasn't a commie tactic when used against people of color, so why is it commie when used against violent loony racists? and the left was vividly outraged when the US spied on Muslims suspected of being jihadists . What Quid's anonymous administrator suggests is more reminiscent of Castro's neighborhood watch .

I hear it is unamerican to rat on your bro's, not for demonrats apparently

jlisenbe

It is well accepted to "rat" on a neighbor who is engaged in illegal activity such as drug sales, child abuse, and so forth, but to suggest that we report on political speech and advocacy is completely unamerican.

It's not easy to gather the meaning of this. "who they have perceived to be radicalizing and potentially radicalizing towards violence." Words like "perceived" and "potentially" are too inexact for comfort.

Unamerican, how can you judge? do you judge by the standards of your ancestors? those are just a dim memory for most.

Think about what your country has become, the murder of innocents is sanctioned, people are denied the most basic things, robber barons rule the land, there are more guns than people

Abortion is legal in Australia so not sure why you think you are holier than thou on that issue. It is legal, in fact, all the way up until birth, and abortions take place by the tens of thousands every year. Are you engaged in the pro-life movement in Australia? Does one even exist?

Not sure what you mean that people are denied basic things. If anything our welfare system is far too generous.

Robber barons rule the land? Really??? That's way, way over the top.

Have no idea why the number of guns is an issue.

do you judge by the standards of your ancestors? those are just a dim memory for most.We study history over here. It is helpful. We also start our sentences with capital letters.

How PC of you, but you might learn to spell, I'm not holier than thou, there are a number of things we could do better too and some we have

It's politically correct in Australia to capitalize the first letter in a sentence??? Strange.

Have you joined a pro-life group in your country to oppose " the murder of innocents"?

I don't have to join an organisation to do that, I vote for a party that opposes abortion, assault weapons in the community and criminality in general

So the murder of innocents does not merit your personal involvement? Oh well. It sounds like the liberal dem mantra of charity. Most of them seem not to have any personal involvement in helping the poor. Their excuse is that they vote for those who agree to force others to give to the poor.

all of this depends on how your government views helping the poor and ensuring fair wages for the lower echelons. For a country without universal health care you cannot boast. It is not against democratic values to ensure all have equal advantage when accessing health care, welfare, unemployment benefits, but your mindset makes it anathema

to ensure all have equal advantage when accessing health care, welfare, unemployment benefits,We have welfare and far too much of it. We certainly have unemployment benefits. As to med care, it can be put another, more accurate way, to ensure that some people have money taken from them by force of law in order to pay for the medical care of others.

You lack compassion, people cannot have equal access without equality of resources including income. You rant about taxes as unfair and having money taken from you by force of law but you have a constitution which upholds such laws, it is the price of admission and citizenship, but you want the advantages without the cost, such a travesty
