View Full Version : Trump's New Press Secretary

Kayleigh McEnerny, Trump's latest press secretary, promises the reporters, "I will never lie to you"." Her statement was followed by several lies. You can't make this stuff up, folks.
She doesn't seem to know right from wrong. Trump obviously finds people like this who, like Trump, do not know right from wrong, unless to pay it lip service.
This is also common among Trump followers. Most notoriously, among his evangelical core supporters, not to speak of Trump senate supporters who should know better.
Another example: Trump is currently attempting to rewrite his botched reaction to the pandemic absolving himself of all error and congratulating himself on a brilliant successful victory.
In real life, he continues to put the American public in jeopardy from the virus by his mismanagement.

She isn't new. She was a talking head dufus supporter on cable, which no doubt got her this job. They needed a face behind the mike since the dufus presser debacles of the last few weeks.

Then I agree another target for fact checks on the continuing lies and distractions for sure. That's what the lying cheating dufus does and who he employs.

That would be 11% of the death toll from abortion in one year.

Make what okay? A million abortions a year, or more than 70,000 virus deaths so far? The majority of abortions are safe and legal, so you can keep your moral judgements to yourself. The virus is a public heath crisis. Tell me what should be done about it. So far you are so worried about the economy, you don't seem to care about those deaths so whats your point here?

The majority of abortions are safe and legalYeah. Only the child gets killed, thank goodness. I mean we wouldn't want anything that's not "safe" to happen would we?
so you can keep your moral judgements to yourself. Why do you think I'm always the one to keep my "moral judgments" to myself, but you're free to just judge away? Why are you the privileged one? There is, for instance, this "moral judgment". "So far you are so worried about the economy, you don't seem to care about those deaths so what's your point here?" And you are the same guy who just said in another thread that you don't have time to worry about hundreds of thousands of deaths in abortions because, after all, you are so worried about those trillions of dollars being spent? Wasn't that you??

1. What do you want to do about it besides cry a river?
2. Asking fiscally and health related questions is a moral judgement? No wonder you can't comment to the topic.

2. Asking fiscally and health related questions is a moral judgement? No wonder you can't comment to the topic. There was a very clear and judgmental statement at the core of your question. "So far you are so worried about the economy, you don't seem to care about those deaths..." Why is it you just can't come clean and admit when you are wrong? You called me judgmental, and not ten words later a judgmental statement was made by you. Well, if it's wrong for me, then it's wrong for you as well.

1. I honestly think the key is people being thoughtful and responsible and empowered about what they do and how they do it. Prevention is the way to go, and barring abstinence there are plenty of other ways one can have healthy human relationships with just knowing all the options available. Solid information and knowing how to empower people to make good choices for themselves is my position there because after all individuals are most effected by there own choices and actions.
2. Sorry you took it personally, and that's just not my problem. I have told you repeatedly not to take things here as a personal affront so why are you. Trust me if I wanted to be judgmental it would be direct and personal no doubt about it. Sometimes though the written word YOU, doesn't mean YOU individually but collectively.

Vote pro-life.
Including helping them after birth if they are hungry, being abused, being sex trafficked, put in cages on our southern border, and are unloved just because they exist.
Sometimes though the written word YOU, doesn't mean YOU individually but collectively.
Exactly! The same goes for my use of "we".

I'm sure your "you" was meant to be generic. It would certainly be better to run to that excuse than to simply admit you made a judgmental statement.
Including helping them after birth if they are hungry, being abused, being sex trafficked, put in cages on our southern border, and are unloved just because they exist. In the case of abortion, they are killed just because they exist, but since Biden is all for abortion, then I will assume you will not bring that up.

1. Take it any way you please.
2. Biden's abortion stance has no bearing on my vote.
