He becomes psychotic under certain conditions and is therefore harder to see than a full-blown psychotic who is always acting in an obviously strange manner.

More and more, Trump is living in an alternate reality and is becoming more and more dangerous. His behavior is predicted to be increasingly out of touch with his normal surroundings.

This is most obvious when he loses control at his daily press briefings when any question even hints at criticism of Trump.

22 million Americans have filed for unemployment in the last 4 weeks . But you think it is "out of touch for the President to want to open the economy again. I really don't get what is controversial about that
. Many states are dropping stay at home orders beginning May 1,Trump last week issued guidelines that will give Governors the call as to when their states can open.

The controversy is that it will increase the sickness and deaths from Covid-19.

Right before that, he claimed "I am in total control". Then he backed down to the governors. A good example of his up-and-down mental aberration.

You mean like his travel restrictions after the airlines stopped flights?

The temporary restrictions followed announcements by American Airlines, Delta Air Lines and United Airlines that they would suspend air service between the United States and China for several months.
