We here at AMHD cannot help you get around any sort of administrative restrictions imposed on a School, Work, or any other network not owned and operated by yourself. These restrictions can include (but are not limited to): Website Blocking policies, Software Installation policies, Email retention policies, Software Configuration policies, Network/Internet usage policies, Network Configuration policies, Forum or Chat Room Bans, Game Server Bans, or any other actions that are deemed "unauthorized" by the owners/administrators of the network in question. Any actions by members of AMHD that would be offered to help in this manner would directly violate the site's TOS

In addition, but trying to bypass your universities restrictions you could face disciplinary action. Those blocks are put in place for your protection and the protection of the school. If you are caught trying to bypass such blocks you could face suspension or even expulsion.

Ben has clarified the whole issue. Orkut as per my knowledge is not a good site for students as they will move away from their academic interests and that is why it has been blocked by your university.

Which "university" is this. Perhaps Oral Roberts Univ, but most state schools have even wireless access with no restrictions ?

Not picking on you, but it shoulds more like a high school situation.
