You check with FL licensing Dept. for what you hope to do. Typically, past felonies exclude health areas.

As a health care worker in Ontario Canada I can truthfully say (and this goes for US as well) if you have a felony record you will have to change your job focus. Any application for a health care job always asks if you have been convicted of a felony and requires a background check. You have to be squeaky clean.

You could contact your board of nursing, but typically and felony conviction, expunged or not, will prevent you from a healthcare career.
