I didn't always agree with him, but I never had any doubt he was an American hero who bravely served his country.
Unlike that draft dodger in the WH who NEVER served his country and who criticized McCain for being captured and who, more than likely, paid a doctor to attest to a bone spur which Trump can't even remember which foot.
The light of true gallantry will always blind cowards.

Why do you do a tribute by comparing him to someone you are trashing ? Seems your effort is to trash Trump more than honor McCain . Yeah I get it . The left loves McCain in death but unmercifully trashed him as an extremist
misogynist racist when he ran in 2008 . I see through your faux tribute .

It wasn't McCain; it was "his choosing" of Sarah Palin as a running mate (and yes, he looked embarrassed and chagrined early on -- obviously not his choice) that disgusted many people in BOTH parties.

Seriously ? He was an
extremist misogynist racist for selecting Palin ?Give me a break. He went out of his way to defend the emperor from his own supporters . But he was called unhinged AND misogynist racist for putting out an ad that had the emperor on the same photo as Brittany Spears and Paris Hilton trying to make the point that the emperor was an unserious celebrity candidate . Scores of editorials condemned him unfairly for that .
The left feasted on garbage like this during the campaign. https://www.politico.com/story/2008/08/is-there-sinister-subtext-in-mccain-ads-012340

What garbage does the right feast on?

Why not?

Honor McCain, trash Trump.
Yeah I get it .
You're doing well so far.

I never trashed John. I always admired his service to his country. I was politically center to his political right, but even so agreed with him sometimes.
[QUOTE]I see through your faux tribute .
Nothing faux about it. Those who serve in the military always have my admiration and gratitude. Trump will always have my disdain.

The left respected John McCain plain and simple, well sometimes, despite the disagreements and campaign fights. Everybody did. Unlike the Dufus, who McCain didn't invite to his funeral.

After making the call for calm bipartisanship at McCain's funeral, the emperor made an angry divisive speech mocking Repubs ,never bothering to explain why the nation was more divided after his 8 years then it was before .

Not surprisingly, he seemed bitter about the way the country is moving on without him. It still hasn’t dawned on him that, by 2016, America wasn’t buying what he was selling. The classic example is that was during the 2016 contest ,he told young and minority voters it would be a personal insult to him if they did not show up and vote for Evita. Well they didn't ,and the ones who voted at all more likely than not voted for Bolshevik Bernie. That could explain why the speech had a scolding tone to it when he raised the subject of turnout.
He falsely claimed credit for the economic boom . He gave us some belly laugh lines about restoring honesty and lawfulness to government .
When and if Trump ever decides to do the right thing by releasing the documents Congressional investigators have been asking for related to Russia Gate ;the emperor's pompousness will be exposed for what it is .Maybe Trump could recruit Senator Spartacus for the release . But wait ;no that won't work . Senator Spartacus only releases irrelevant documents to the public.
(for those who have not been following the Kavanaugh hearing; Sen Booker released documents about the issue of racial profiling to the public that he claimed were not approved for release . He called it his Spartacus moment because he could be expelled from the Senate . The only problems was that the memo had been approved for release ;and Booker knew it .So there was no way he would face expulsion . The other problem was that Kavanaugh in fact is opposed to racial profiling )
