How do I identify and get appraisal for an old oil painting. The signature is difficult to read but I have part of the signature. The artist's name is either Julverhouse or Jalverhouse or Gulverhouse or Galverhouse.

Did you Google all of your options. A local art shop may be of help.

Danish paintings (as it sounds to be) as a rule and have collected a couple (Soran Christiansen, Heen Hoven, etc.). There isn't much of a market for them even though they are really nice as a rule and in my layman's opinion great looking wall art.
