There is a guy at college that likes me and I like him too but we NEVER talked,he tried many times but we're both very shy.it's been a year now but I can't get him off my head so I decided to send him a face book invitation instead. But I'm afraid: what if he gave up on me? If not ,will he find me desperate?
Should I send him an friend request or not?
(we're the same age , and he hangs out with the popular group , I'm shy so there is NO WAY I am going to talk to him directly )
He ones sat next to me but then he started to blush so he quickly change his seat.

You are both in college and should be over this shyness phase, don't you think ? Send him a friend request of course and see where it goes.

Listen, as tickle said. You either suck it up and do it, or just forget it. I suggest sucking it up and do it. You are going to be taken advantage of in the workplace unless you take charge and do the uncomfortable until it becomes comfortable which is the ONLY way you will overcome your shyness. And yes..that does work. If you continue to avoid situations that make you uncomfortable, you won't ever get comfortable doing them.

Once you do that, there are no guarantees in life..other than if you don't participate, you can't win.
