I am a 33 year old overweight woman who has begun to lose weight through reducing the amount of calories I take in and through bicycling, and crunches. I am losing between 1 and 2 pounds a week, and am noticing a definite size difference. I have lost 22 lbs so far, but I am having difficulty with one area. On my torso, just below my armpits I have a roll of fat that extends from my back to my bust. I have been lifting 5 lb weights in several different directions and it doesn't seem to be helping. I need something that does not involve buying expensive equiptment.

Do a lot of cardio. Running is the best, start by doing a walk for about 5 minutes, then slowly increase and start to do some jogging about your second time and slowly increase the amoun of time you jog.

You sound like you've been doing exceptional!. So Congratulations! 1-2 lbs a week is great results, keep eating healthy and watch serving portions, Now with exercise, you need to change routines, do cardio, alnong with weight/resistance training, walking, biking, dancing, just keep moving, it takes time and patience and time, which you seem to be accomplishing, so keep up the good work!
