At least, I hope it was a movie (maybe a book?), and not vivid halucination or dream.
What I tried: searching through Google, imdb, even my history, for past few days. All possible keywords and plot points I could think off in several combinations, no luck.
About what I remember:
Story was something about group of people who were at a cabin (party? Holiday?) in winter. There was snow outside (and was important for story), and generator for electricity in an adjacent shed (but with the entrance from outside).
I think it was from 2000-2015, give or take
What I remember from plot points and happenings:
(one of a) first victim is a girl, whe went for some reason outside, later two people find her shoeprints in snow, but are stumped because they suddenly stop in middle of nowhere, with no traces of her of what happened.
Somewhere in a middle they went to rangers or huntsman cabin to radio for help.
The monster (windigo? Bigfoot? Yeti?) claimed their bodies as trophies, by hanging them high up a tree in bags or cloths.
Ending was downer, since the last 2 persons were attempting escape via car, but something went wrong, one disappeared, and the last one realised (I think it was a she) she won't make it out before she's taken out too, and somewhere around that time it ended.
If anyone knows what I'm talking about (and therefore if I'm not fully crazy), please help. Thank you
