Hi,

I'm in my 30's and want to take up a childhood dream. Can anyone have some idea where I can learn to draw and paint? I don't have too much experience, personally think I need to start from the very beginning...

Thanks,

If you are in the US, check out the local "Y" many have classes, also varioius local art supplies will have info on instructions.

My first thought would be to see who teaches art in a local school and ask them if they would be willing to give you private lessons. Might be a thought that they had never entertained!

Secondly, The Art Institute of Vancouver | Art & Design School (http://www.trade-schools.net/art-institutes/the-art-institute-of-vancouver.asp)

Then I would try in a Google search the following:

Vancouver, British Columbia community college

Then I would try the same thing. While adding the words, art classes.

Here's a few other ideas:

Online Art School - Learn to Draw & Paint - 10 Free Lessons (http://www.interactiveartschool.com/)

I thought that the following site was pretty cool!

THE ORIGINAL ARTSCHOOL ONLINE (http://www.angelfire.com/ar/rogerart/index.html)

Others:

Art Activities, Art Projects & Games (http://www.princetonol.com/groups/iad/links/artgames.html)

Online Art Courses, Painting Lessons, Tutorials and Workshops (http://www.worldwidelearn.com/online-courses/art-courses.htm)
