If Comey thought Trump committed obstruction on Feb 14, why tell Congress he's not suspect on March 20, and tell Trump same thing March 30?

You get a guy like Trump, you stay cool and listen alertly to what he says and does and take note. That's what Comey did and what a good investigator does. Gather evidence until the right time.

you shouldn't be . He built a career by creating false obstruction cases .Being from the area where he cut his teeth ,I recall some of them. For years he was after a banker named Frank Quattrone . When he couldn't build a case against him ;Comey nailed him with obstruction charges over an email(you got that ? A single email ;not a server and thousands of emails) .Comey made false statements about "intent " (sound familiar ?) Quattrone was convicted on the charges Comey made . His conviction was over turned in 2006 . He has since set up the Quattrone Center at Penn Law for other victims of prosecutorial abuse .

Martha Stewart . Remember her ? Comey tried to get her for insider trading . But he soon realized those charges had no merit . Still he kept his investigation open until she made statements to investigators he could turn into charges . And he did charge her for making 'false statements ' .She was convicted in essence for misleading investigators by denying committing a crime she did not commit . She served 5 months in Federal Prison.

You already know about the injustice served to Scooter Libby for not helping Comey's attempt to nail VP Cheney . So I'll move on to the guy who Comey was convinced was behind the anthrax attacks after 9-11. Dr Steven Hatfill .(Robert Mueller was in on this debacle too) .Even though Hatfill was an implausible suspect from the beginning ,they went after him with the dogged persuit of Inspector Javert (or was it Clouseau ?) .( The real person who did the anthrax murders was a Fort Detrick scientist named Bruce Edwards Ivins ) .Comey and Mueller had absolutely no evidence against Hatfill and yet zeroed in on him as the primary suspect .How did they know ? Well they brought in some anthrax sniffing dogs on the case .Hatfill petted them and they responded favorably . That was all Comey and Mueller needed . The long and short of this case was that Ivins committed suicide when investigators got close to him and the government paid Hatfill almost $6 million in legal settlements .

The person who is supposed to give legal advice to the President recused himself . He should be fired . The incompetent Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein should also be fired for appointing Mueller as a special counsel.

The lawyer who defended Trump this weekend on the news shows, should be fired too! Firing Trump would end all this scandal and drama in my opinion. Then we could focus on Paul and Mitch and the boys getting their walking papers.

As far as Sekulow saying what he did ? I believe it . Trump was, as usual ,over-reacting to the Slimes and co. reporting Mueller had Trump under investigation. Where did they get that from ? Does Meuller not have control of his investigation already ? Did Mueller approve a leak from his group ? The last official word Anyone got was Comey's testimony where he said Trump wasn't the subject of an investigation .

He fired Comey because Comey wasn't sufficiently interested in uncovering the source of the press leaks and other sabotage by the permanent bureaucracy . Trump defended Flynn ;who has been the target of the intelligence community since he exposed the emperor's failed policies in the ME lead to the creation of ISIS.

As for the whole Russian collusion ......it is a McGuffin(an object, event, or character in a film or story that serves to set and keep the plot in motion despite usually lacking intrinsic importance) .There is nothing there there .The narrative is designed to create land mines that herr Donald to date seems prone to step on. The aim is not to take down Trump because of Russian collusion . The aim is to take down Trump by any means necessary .If they can concoct a phony obstruction case ;tanto mejor .

As Loretta Lynch is now aware ;this course assumes some big risks. They had better hope they succeed in their cold coup . The intelligence leaks alone are probably sufficient grounds to put several dozen senior officials in federal prison for a long time . They charted this course . I don't believe there is any turning back.

But they will not succeed unless they get the electorate in flyover country to turn on Trump. All they are doing so far is making him a martyr.
