I am not able to send or receive emails and when I go in on the help site it is not accepting my email address. I need to be able to restore this asap as I receive all of my household utility invoices through my email.

You haven't even told us what email company you use. Your best bet might be to take your computer to a Best Buy or local computer fix it person.
