About two weeks ago a guy gave me his number. I waited until the next day to call him. We had a pretty good conversation, just getting to know one another, however I am a little shy so I didn't talk so openly. 3 days later he called me asking about my day, we ended up texting for a bit. 3 days later, I messaged him asking "hey, how's it going?". I believe he called again. He suggested we hang out, but I was busy , so I suggested the next day... It never happened even though he did text me when he got off work like he said he would. However he did text me Sunday saying"good morning". I responded. I text him Monday saying "Hey" and we had a pretty decent conversation.

Although he doesn't really call anymore, when we text, he seems pretty happy to talk and if I text him first, he always replies, but now it has been 5 days since we last talked. Is he not interested? Or he thinks I'm chasing him? (Which is another reason I refuse to text him now). He is so sporadic and confusing. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe its time to use the texting to find a time (And place) to hang out in person. You know some face time??

What's stopping you from CALLING him for some real conversation? Frankly it may be YOU who shows little interest in anything but text buddies Miss Shy Girl.

How old are you both?

I am 19 , he`s 21. He works a lot so I didn't want it to seem like I was bothering him or chasing him even though I really do like him. I think I will call him and ask him to hang out some time. I just didn't think he was interested because we would go so long without talking .
