UPG 2PP32U701124 series thermostat York Air COnditioner. Is this somethinbg I can do or do I need a service person. If I can do, where would I get part.

There are many questions as to whether they actually work. They only affect living organisms. So, unless you have mites or others living things, they do nothing. They do nothing for dust, that is the filter. You can typically find them in the supply side of the air plenum. Look for a small round or square box with 2 wires. You can buy a replacement tube. New installs are$500 or so. Read up on them before replacing.
