I went to the OBGYN on 5/20 (CD 10) and an ultrasound was performed. I was having pain and some spotting to light bleeding a week after my period had ended. She saw a cyst but not follicle that would become dominate. My OPKs (using Clear Blue Advanced Digital with circle, flashing smiley face, & solid smiley face), had been showing high fertility since the 17th (CD 7). However, two days after the appointment on CD 12 I got a solid smiley face, so a positive for LH surge around 2am when I woke up. How is that possible when the Dr. said there was only a cyst not a follicle?
Once it reset I had negative, so just a plain circle, until today when I got another high fertility (flashing smiley). What the heck is going on? With the first I was having EWCM and with this one I am mostly dry? My boobs have been tender since CD 12, about the evening of CD 12. I am still having spotting to light bleeding (since CD 8), which OBGYN thought when I went in on CD 10 that I either ovulated early or had a cyst rupture.
Did I ovulate on the first surge or am I gearing up to surge now or am I gearing up to have a second surge? What is going on?
