Ive always had a fairly normal period timeframe. It generally lasts 5-7 days. But this time it's lasted 13 days already. The flow isn't great, but the blood is bright red so it's not "old" blood. I recently moved from one state to another and become involved in a relationship after a 2 year enforced dry spell. I am not sure if any of these changes can cause the added time frame but I am desperate to know how to make the bleeding stop,

Are you still having sex or have you stopped? Could be a lack of lubrication is cause damage which would be the new blood your seeing. For the same token it could just be too rough.

Have you seen a doctor about this?

There are a number of possible reasons for extended bleeding... hormone changes, polyps, etc. Check with your doctor if it continues.
